Daranta International Inc. buys the Utility Company Franchise - 25th August 2008

Daranta International Inc.'s is now a Utility Service Provider following its recent purchase of the Utility Company franchise. The franchise is for exclusive territories in Calgary NW and the West African region and was formally opened 25th August 2008.

Zebra Technical Service Limited - the Nigerian affiliate will handle all marketing and sales activities of the franchise for the West African region from their base in Lagos, Nigeria under the close supervision and direction of Daranta International Inc. and the Utility Company. Zebra Technical Services Limited proposes strategic alliance with DPR - 15th August 2008

Daranta International Inc.'s affiliate in Nigeria - Zebra Technical Service Limited is working to build a strategic alliance with the Department of Petroleum Resource (DPR) in Nigeria to develop an enhancement of the ECMT that will allow for online submission of applications for permits and consents by upstream Oil & Gas companies. The enhanced ECMT will allow companies to check status of their application online and will drastically reduce approval cycle time, data mining and resources while creating a uniform benchmark for compliance monitoring and verification.

Daranta is pleased to announce the successful negotiation of an agreement with eCompliance Canada that paves the way for the development of electronic compliance management systems for most industries including Energy, Mining, Defense, Health Care, Regulatory agencies, Government etc. The product will be released in Canada on the 1st of September 2006. This software will facilitate the tracking and management of occupational health and safety requirements based on OSHA 18001 but can be customized to specific standards as may be required by clients.

In a related development Daranta and MediaLogic have reached the testing phase of an Electronic Compliance Management Tool (ECMT)^TM for a client in Nigeria. The ECMT will facilitate lifecycle compliance monitoring and reporting for upstream oil field projects. The tool is built on a library of applicable petroleum laws and guidance as issued by the main regulatory agencies in Nigeria. Consequently concession, exploration, development, production and abandonment compliance items will be tracked including their post approval activities.
